Are you seeking an inexpensive family activity this summer? Consider the Ultimate (Frisbee) of Rochester league! Ultimate is a fast-paced non-contact sport that combines

the passing, scoring, and kickoffs of football,
-
the field movement of soccer,
-
the pivoting of basketball, and
-
the jumping/agility of volleyball and badminton.
Peruse the basic rules of the game and view a short (less than 2 and one-half minutes) video that explains/demonstrates the game of ultimate.
Individuals 14 years old and older are eligible to participate (play) in the Ultimate of Rochester league. Ultimate of Rochester is:

an instructional and a competitive league for novice and experienced players.
-
an opportunity for families (children and adults) to engage in a sporting activity as a family at the same time and in the same location as other families.
-
a coeducational league with only one division: the Family Division.
Parents/guardians may transfer charge of their children to an on-site adult and vacate the site for the duration of the meeting; however, Ultimate of Rochester offers a rare opportunity for parents/guardians and their children to participate in an activity together! In addition, adults may participate without registering a minor child. Last year, 57 individuals participated in the league; join this fun, aerobic, and social activity!
Meetings are scheduled from 10:00A.M. until 12:00P.M. at Softball Field #2 near the Circle Shelter in Ellison Park in Rochester (or a suitable facility in Penfield, Pittsford, or Fairport) on the following 10 consecutive Saturdays between 7/10 and 8/11, inclusive. Due to individual/family summer obligations, participants are not expected to attend every meeting. This is a pick-up activity: new teams are created each week based upon weekly participation. Register to fellowship and play ultimate during the meetings that coincide with individual/family availability.
