Registration Information

Introduction

For the 6th consecutive year, Ultimate of Rochester (formerly Ultimate of Macedon) is offering an activity for individuals at least 14 years old (children with or without parents and adults with or without children). Ultimate of Rochester is an inexpensive ($15/player) instructional and a competitive league for novice and experienced male and female players playing a 5-person non-contact version of ultimate scheduled once-per-week (for the busy family). When/Where

Meetings are scheduled from 10:00A.M. - 12:00P.M. at Softball Field #2 near the Circle Shelter in Ellison Park in Rochester on the following 10 consecutive Saturdays between 7/10 and 9/11, inclusive. This is a pick-up activity: new teams are created each week based upon weekly participation; a weekly commitment is not required!

Description

Ultimate of Rochester is an instructional and a competitive league for novice and experienced players. Ultimate (Frisbee) is a fast-paced non-contact sport that combines the passing, scoring, and kickoffs of football with the field movement of soccer with the pivoting of basketball with the jumping/agility of volleyball and badminton. Peruse the basic rules of the game and view a short (less than 2 and one-half minutes) video that explains/demonstrates the game of ultimate.​

Registration Fee

Generally, the registration fee includes a Participation Fee of $20 per participant; a $5 discount is applied to every adult with a participating child!

Queue

Registration is limited due to field availability; therefore, register today before the registration is closed! The roster will be queued in the order that the registrations are received and processed by the registrar of Ultimate of Rochester; participants earliest in the queue are given priority for roster placement. Registration does not guarantee participation; refunds will be issued for any participant not placed on the roster. The registration form and full payment must be received by the registrar of Ultimate of Rochester in order for the corresponding participants to be queued on the roster. Register as early as possible (don't wait until the deadline) to maximize the likelihood of roster placement.

Registration Process

To register for Ultimate of Rochester,

  1. complete the on-line registration form (ideally) or e-mail the completed soft-registration form in Microsoft Word format (2 pages) or mail via U.S. Postal Service the completed paper registration form in PDF format (2 pages) and

  2. remit payment using a check or money order payable to HIS Sports of Region 7

by Sunday July 10th of 2021. Payment must be remitted and, if applicable, a printed paper registration form must be submitted to the registrar of Ultimate of Rochester via U.S. Postal Service at

Results

Week #1 (Game #1 (7/10/2021)) results and the Player Game/Cumulative Statistics are posted here! The game and cumulative statistics are included in a table at the bottom of the resulting web page; the table may require several seconds to load. In addition, a hyperlinked Google Doc (or Microsoft Word file) is also available for a more user-friendly readable format.

Attendance

During the season, update the Attendance Poll (not yet available) by 6:00P.M. on Friday regarding the subsequent Saturday game. Changes to the Attendance Poll can be made prior to 8:00A.M. on game day; changes afterward must be accompanied by a text message to the Commissioner of Ultimate of Rochester.

Rules

The Official Rule Book is very detailed and not required reading. However, referees, coaches, and players must carefully review the House Rules; the House Rules (version 1) supersede the official rule book.
